Oregon plate format rules

- Allowed characters
- Letters A–Z, numbers 0–9, and spaces, “-”.
Up to 6 characters plus one extra space or hyphen, for 7 plate positions in total. At least one letter or number is required, and three numbers followed by three letters (or the reverse) is unavailable. From official form 735-205.
