Arkansas plate format rules

- Allowed characters
- Letters A–Z and numbers 0–9 only.
- Not issued
- Plates containing “Q”.
Periods, plus signs, dashes, interchangeable characters and the letter Q are all disallowed, and a combination may not conflict with any regular plate numbering format. The 7-character maximum is for passenger personalized plates; other specialty categories allow only 4 to 5.
